An introduction to my style: Part 1

Okay let's start by talking about how crazy this is. I have 23 followers on Bloglovin'! Excuse me what? Like how did that happen? Guys you have no idea how much it means to me. And don't even get me started on the fact that at the time I'm writing this I have 5 comments on my first post. To me it seems so surreal that I've barely even started and yet I already have so many wonderful people that are participating in this blog. I read every comment, I intend to reply to all of them, and I do check out the blogs of everyone that follows me or comments. But I really cannot thank you all enough for your support.

Anyway sentimentality aside for one moment I wanted to do a quick introduction to my style. Unfortunately as I'm hugely camera phobic (which is going to have to change because I intend to do lots of OOTD posts) at the moment I don't actually have any photos of me. So instead I thought I'd do a short post just showing you some of the outfits / items that I either own, aspire to own, or have something similar to.

I am beyond excited to say that I now actually own this cropped t-shirt. At £14 in the Urban Outfitters January sale I just couldn't say no. I don't own that specific fitted midi skirt, mine is from River Island, but a black fitted pencil skirt is a black fitted pencil skirt right?

Continuing the theme of me stealing photos of the Urban Outfitters website, I am desperately trying to find the perfect pair of harem trousers before spring sets in. And looking at these beauties I feel like I may have just found them. I personally am not a fan of wearing them with those boots though (sorry UO) and would probably stick them on with a pair of flip flops and either a cropped t-shirt or possibly a fitted tank top. The only problem with that is that here in chilly London I'm not completely sure flip flops are spring appropriate. If anyone has any better ideas as to what I could shove on my feet please let me know.

It would be an understatement to say that I have a slight addiction to plaid shirts. I own like 15 of them. I love Taylor's styling of them here too; with a top underneath, a pair of skinny jeans and some riding boots. That's my go to outfit the majority of the week. Not gonna lie, as much as I love the two outfits above when I'm up at 6 to do the school run this is pretty much as sophisticated as it gets.
I also wear them undone with a fitted tank underneath, especially in the summer with shorts and either converse or flip flops.

On a slightly different fashion note this Michael Kors watch is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Unfortunately though at £209 it's something that I'll have to save up for if I ever want to actually own it. A girl can dream though right?

I'm going to stop now because otherwise this post will be far too long. Instead I've decided that I'm going to split this post into two parts, maybe doing the follow up post next Sunday?

Again a huge thank you for the crazy amount of support that this blog already has. Please let me know what you think of this post, whether you'd like to see part two, and also what your favourite piece for winter is.

All my love
